A Lightweight, Upright, Fixed-Tilt Wheelchair with Large Removable Rear Wheels.

Lightweight, compact and durable, the Convaid Convertible Wheelchair is like having two conventional wheelchairs in one! This upright wheelchair comes with 8” rear wheels, plus removable larger rear wheels that can be snapped on or off quickly and easily. Designed for active lifestyles and built to last, Convaid wheelchairs are lightweight, portable, and convenient for use at school, day programs, doctor visits, and recreation with family and friends.

Snap “On” the large rear wheels:

For independent mobility at work, home or school
To exercise and build upper body strength

Snap “Off” the large rear wheels:

For the quick trips when dependent mobility saves time
For maneuvering wheelchair in and out of tight places (restaurants, theaters, etc.)
When stowing wheelchair in the trunk of a car or on a plane

The Convertible Wheelchair has a 10-degree fixed seat angle, which allows a child or teen with limited upper body control to sit upright and see straight ahead. Because of the removable rear wheels, these self-propelled wheelchairs fold easier than most conventional wheelchairs – simply remove the large rear wheels and fold like an umbrella stroller.

*Please note: The Convaid Convertible requires Mag Rear Solid Tires, Quick Release Axles & Axle Attachment Brackets. Transit Model must be purchased with Headrest Extension, 3-Point Positioning Belt with Covers & Foot Positioners. Optional Q’Straint & Sure-Lok Transit Lap Belts are also available.

We are not able to control the inventory in our warehouse and factory. Stock levels can fluctuate at any moment. Please be aware that it's possible that your order will be out of stock after you have placed the order.

The policy is 30 days. If 30 days have passed in the past since you purchased and we are unable to offer an exchange or refund.

For your item to be eligible for return the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it. The item must be in its original packaging.
